We are glad to announce that magazine The Best Lawyers in America has once again named every lawyer at Bolek Besser Glesius to its list of “Best Lawyers” in Cleveland in the field of employment law representing individuals. We are especially thrilled to announce that the publication has also named Cathleen Bolek its 2021 Cleveland employment “Lawyer of the Year.” This is the third time one of our lawyers has received this prestigious award.
The Best Lawyers in America “is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.” Since 1983, it has served as an independent attorney referral source. The annual “Best Lawyers” list it publishes is based “entirely on peer review.” The magazine uses a multi-step methodology designed to determine “the consensus of leading lawyers” about the skills and integrity of their fellow lawyers. Lawyers cannot nominate themselves or purchase recognition.
Best Lawyers recognizes only a select few attorneys each year in a given practice area and city. It also gives special recognition to the attorney whose peer feedback is the “highest overall” from each practice area and city. That lawyer is then named the “Lawyer of the Year.”
Every year since 2016, Best Lawyers has named every attorney at Bolek Besser Glesius to its list of “Best Lawyers” for employment law representing individuals in Cleveland. This year, it named Cathleen Bolek as its Cleveland employment “Lawyer of the Year.” This well-deserved honor reflects Cathy’s dedication, skill, and reputation as one of Ohio’s most exemplary employment lawyers. The magazine has twice recognized Amy Glesius with the honor, in 2013 and again in 2016.
